DALLAS – August 25, 2014 – Jackson County Schools is kicking off construction of their $10.8 million
energy savings performance contracting (ESPC) project with Schneider Electric, a global specialist in
energy management. The project will transform the learning environment of 20 K-12 facilities throughout
the district and address a number of challenges the school district faced, including replacing more than
100 failing HVAC systems and updating obsolete fluorescent lighting.
