  • Solutions

    • This solution Guard Monitoring with Safety Controller provides an efficient way to build machine safety. The Preventa XPSMC safety controller enables the creation of the safety circuit.
    • The documentation provides wiring diagram, schematic diagram, explanation of application and the safety reliability calculations. The safety chain solution supports you create safety architectures with a Category 4 architecture PL e EN ISO13849-1 and SIL 3 EN IEC 62061 for the guard monitoring function.
    • The Safety-related stop function is initiated by actuation of an emergency stop or moveable guard designed to protect access into a hazardous zone. Opening the guard is detected by guard switches monitored by the processing module and thus deactivates the safety module outputs (stop category 0 EN IEC 60204-1) resulting in removing the motor power supply connected to contactors (K1 and K2). The motor will freewheel to stop.
