#1 – Processing & Conveying

  • Roller Conveyor

Roller conveyors are driven either by flat, cylindrical belts or by chains. They accommodate conveying line switches and sorters. Roller conveyors have a motor inside the rollers which propels loads across zones of conveyor sections.

  • Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyor is a machine transporting material in a continuous way by friction drive. It is mainly composed by rack, conveyor belt, belt roll, tensioning device and gearing. It can form a material delivery process between the initial feeding point and the final discharging point.

    #2 – Feeding & Loading

    • Vibrating Feeder Bowl

An electromagnet causes a bowl containing bulk parts to vibrate. The armature of the electromagnet is attached to the bottom of the bowl. Under the effect of vibration, these parts are fed into a helical ramp inside the bowl. Any parts oriented in the wrong position are discharged back into the bottom of the bowl. When weighted bowls are also used, a motor drives an eccentric inertia system to cause bowl vibration.

    #3 – Vertical & Horizontal Form Fill & Seal

    • Vertical Form Fill & Seal

Vertical/Horizontal Form Fill and Seal (VFFS/HFFS) machines are automated packaging systems used in packaging solid or liquid materials. VFFS/HFFS machines package product in a vertical or horizontal plane around a solid product using a film reel.
The film tension is kept constant by means of a tension arm. The forward movement of the film drive motor during the bagging reduces the film reserve and lifts the tension arm. When the arm reaches its top position, a portion of the film on the reel is unwounded to fill again the film reserve until the tension arm reaches its initial (bottom) position. The film is folded to envelop the product and then sealed alongside.
A conveyor moves the products to the center of the film. The transverse sealing wheels close the back part of the bag; the cutter cuts off the full bag that then is evacuated on another conveyor. The cut in the middle of the sealing also allows to close the front part of the next bag.

      #4 – Filling & Capping

      • Filling & Capping

        •  Empty cans are fed into the rotary filler.
        •  Multi-head filling valve system checks for can presence and dispenses the liquid.
        •  The level sensor checks for proper liquid fill and full cans are transferred next to a can seamer.
        •  Seaming heads apply tops to the cans and discharge them to an outfeed conveyor.

      #5 – Price Labelling & Shrink Sleeving

      • Linear Labelling Machine

        • The product is guided to the applicator using a consistent conveyor speed.
        • A product sensor detects its presence and starts the label applicator.
        • The label is dispensed matching the speed of the conveyor.
        • A roller or brush is used to wipe-down the label to ensure proper adhesion.

        Default Alternative Text
      • Shrink Sleeving Machine

Shrink sleeving machines use a conveyor belt to move bottles down the line, where a sleeve is then dropped over the bottles, At this point, heat is then used to shrink the sleeve to the bottle.

        #7 – Wrap Around Boxing

        • Wrap Around Boxing

Machine forms a box around a batch of products and then to close it. Transfer of the batch results in the box wrapping itself around the latter, either by vertical transfer (described here) or lateral transfer. This boxing system is suitable for packaging in general and has the advantage of minimizing the play of products in their box.

        #8 – Grouping / Ungrouping Machine

        • Grouping / Ungrouping Machine

To assemble or disassemble individual products or packages from a primary or secondary packaging machine in batches.

          Default Alternative Text

        #9 – Shrink Wrapping

        • Shrink Wrapping

Machine wraps palletized loads by vertical downward application of a plastic heat-shrink wrapping. The wrapped pallet is then moved into heat-shrink station or oven.

          Default Alternative Text

        #10 – Parceling

        • Parceling

Machine wraps a batch of products in heat-shrink plastic film by pushing the batch through a curtain formed by two film reels, then to consolidate the batch/film assembly in a heat-shrink tunnel.

        #11 – Pallet Dispenser

        • Pallet Dispenser

          • Empty pallet is fed from the magazine.
          • Product cases are being picked up from an infeed conveyor and stacked/positioned on the pallet.
          • After product placement is completed, a full pallet is transferred out to the discharge conveyor.

        #12 – Palletizing

        • Palletizing

A grouping machine arranges the boxes in rows (feed conveyor, stopper, separation conveyor). A pusher moves the rows one by one on the transfer arm. The complete layer is picked up by the grippers of the transfer arm and placed on the pallet or on the stack.

#13 – Automatic Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS)

        • ASRS

The transtorage system consists of a self-propelled column moving along a central aisle (traverse). It supports a vertically sliding platform (lifting). The extraction movement (direction) brings a bin from the stock to the platform and vice versa. Some storage systems can change aisles by curved paths and switches.

        #14 – Stretch Wrapping

        • Rotary Arm

Stretch machines wrap palletized loads in stretchable plastic film (polyethylene) by rotating a reel-holder around the pallet (rotary arm) or rotating a pallet itself.
The top cover is applied to the material; the stabilizer plate descends until it is in contact with the load. The fastening of the film is automatically carried out by an arm. The rotary arm starts to apply the plastic film around the pallet.

          Default Alternative Text
        • Rotary Pallet

Stretch machines wrap palletized loads in stretchable plastic film (polyethylene) by rotating a reel-holder around the pallet (rotary arm) or rotating a pallet itself.
Stretch wrap with a rotary pallet starts with fastening the film to the pallet. When machine cycle starts, the rotation of the table wraps the film around the table. The reel-holder carriage moves regularly upwards/downwards so that the pallet is spirally wrapped.
