    PowerPact J-Frame Molded Case Circuit Breakers

    A flexible, high-performance offer, certified to global standards for ratings from 70 to 250 A.

    The PowerPact H, J, and L-frame circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads and short circuits. H and J-frame circuit breakers are available with either thermal-magnetic or Micrologic electronic trip units. L-frame circuit breakers are available with Micrologic electronic trip units only.

      • Interrupting ratings (AIR) include D-18 kA, G-35 kA, J-65 kA and L-100 kA at 480 Vac and 20 kA at 250 Vdc. Read about our special J-frame DC breakers designed for 500 Vdc ungrounded UPS systems only.

      • UL 489 Listed, CSA, NEMA, NMX, VDE, BS, CCC, IEC certified and CE marked for global acceptance
      • Marine Ratings - Certified by Underwriters laboratories Inc. per UL 489 Supplement SA and the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) per 2008 Steel Vessels Rules 1-1-4/7.7 and 4-8-3/5.3.3. This allows them to be installed and used aboard a boat or vessel in accordance with Appendix B, Ref. No. 19; ABS Type Approval for marine and offshore applications, the applicable publications of the American Boat and Yacht Council Inc.; and the regulations of the United States Coast Guard. The H-Frame has ratings from 15 to 150A, and the J-Frame from 150 to 250A. Both of these are available in 2-pole and 3-pole versions, have interruption ratings of D- (18 kA), G- (35 kA), J- (65 kA) and L- (100 kA) at 480Vac, and are available in unit-mount and I-Line models. The UL/ABS marine rated H- and J-Frame circuit breakers are identified by a –YA suffix added to their catalog number.
