What is a ``R02`` suffix on a 9070 Type TF Industrial Control Transformer?

Various schemes are used to protect the primary and secondary of Industrial Control Transformers


Resolution:
The ``R02`` suffix is a factory installed fuse block with two two fuses for the primary of the Transformer.  For additional information, see page 8 of the Industrial Control Transformer catalog, document # 9070CT9901.  This is often used when an Transformer is ordered with a 120 volt winding with a tap for 24 volts.  Since both hot legs must be fused (one fuse for the 120 volt output and another for the 24 volt output) and SquareD/Schneider Electric does not have an option for a 4 pole fuse block (2 primary and 2 secondary fuses,) SquareD/Schneider Electric will provide only the primary fuse block.  The secondary fuse block(s) must then be provided by the installer.
