Ask a Question

Does the early-make switch in the NSF and NSJ rotary handles open when the breaker trips?

No. The handle does not rotate back far enough to open. If opening on trip is required, put an alarm switch in series with the early-make switch. Then the circuit will open when the breaker trips. Also, the alarm switch (SD) will close when the breaker is reset, enabling the early-make function.
