Molded case switches

Environment:
OEM molded case switches

Resolution:
The 1586 suffix indicates this breaker is only for use by Trane Company.  It includes high amp control wire lugs for FA frame, FASTON tabs on left and center poles, load side.  It is also UL approved. The replacement, such as the FHL36000M1586, can be purchased by contacting the OEM who supplied the equipment. If unable to do that, the standard device can be converted in the field. Order the following:
(1) FHL36000M
(2) FAT
Install an FAT on the center pole load side (OFF end), and another FAT on the left pole load side (OFF end).

The 1586B suffix indicates the breakers were originally sold bulk packed to the OEM. The breaker with suffix 1586 can be used on place of suffix 1586B.
