Resolution
The M580 does not have a setting for specifying the Ethernet Frame Type. The frame type used for ModbusTCP and Ethernet/IP would be Ethernet II.
The M580 uses a  frame type 802.3 only for the STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) for RSTP port control and switch communication.
This Spanning Tree Protocol communication is only on ports 2 and 3 of the M580. The Service Port of the M580 does not send out these type of packets.
