Video: Do the standard QO and QO plug-on neutral(PoN) branch circuit breakers install into the standard QO and QO PoN load centers?

Issue:
Differentiating Plug-On / Non-Plug-On Neutral QO™ Breakers & Panels

Product line:
QO branch circuit breakers

Resolution:
LC = Load Center
PoN = Plug-On Neutral
QOT = CTL type, Tandem Circuit Breaker
QO = Standard Full Size QO breakers and Non-CTL Type, replacement tandem circuit breakers

The standard full size QO breakers, QO, QO-CAFI(White neutral wire Non-PoN), QO-DF(White neutral wire Non-PoN), QO-GFI(White neutral WireNon-PoN), QO-EPD/EPE(White neutral wire Non-PoN),
QO-SWN, QO-HID, QO-K and QO-HM branch circuit breakers can be installed in ALL QO and QO PoN load centers.

However, the QO, PoN LC are NOT designed to accept the QOT (CTL type) tandem breakers, for example a QOT1515, BUT the new QO PoN LC ARE designed to accept the old style QO (Non-CTL) type tandem breaker, for example a QO1515.
NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CIRCUITS AS MARKED ON THE QO, PoN Load Centers WHEN USING QO, Non-CTL type Tandem breakers.

The QOT tandem breakers can ONLY be installed in the QO load centers that are designed to accept the QOT Tandem breakers. The QOT tandem breakers CANNOT be installed in the PoN QO load centers (See FA130326 to determine if a QO Load Center accepts QOT(CTL type) tandems.

The QO, PoN Arc Fault, Ground Fault and Dual Function Breakers can ONLY be installed in the QO, PoN type Load Centers. Because there is a rejection feature that will prevent the installation of these breakers in a standard(Non-PoN) QO load center. The Load Center catalog numbers and the PoN QO branch breakers, will have a P in the catalog number suffix.

Below is a graphic visual of the Standard QO and QOT branch breakers being installed on the interior of a Standard QO load center. This information is available in the below attached instruction bulletin.
