How does the Vijeo Designer Data Manager determine Daylight Savings Time (DST)?

In Vijeo Designer Runtime, the data logging engine logs data in Epoch Time. This implies the data file is free of time zone information and hence, free of any knowledge of DST.

When the Vijeo Designer Data Manager converts the file, it takes the time zone information from the local PC and calculates the appropriate timestamp to put in the file. If you need to have a precise timestamp in the resulting file, ensure your PC's timezone information matches that of the HMI before converting the data logging data.
