What generator interlock kit is available for use with Homeline convertible main breaker/main lug load centers?

Resolution:
The selection of the correct generator interlock kit is dependent upon the series number of the Homeline load center. Any other series not listed below does not have a generator interlock kit available. To locate the catalog and series number of the load center see FA274608.

NOTES: A) Generator interlock kits are not available for the Series 1, 2 or 3 Homeline load centers. Generator interlock kits are available only for the series shown below.
B) Repair parts (labels, screws, brackets, etc.) are not available separately for the generator interlock kits, a complete kit must be obtained for any repair part.
C) Instruction bulletins can change at any time, so PLEASE refer to the instructions that come with each generator kit.
D) The generator interlocks listed below are NOT for use in combination service entrance devices. See FA100611.

1) Kit part number HOMCRBGK1C is compatible with any Series S, NEMA Type 1 (indoor) and NEMA Type 3R (outdoor), convertible Homeline main breaker load centers that utilizes a QOM1 frame main circuit breaker (100 - 125 Amp MAX.). It interlocks the QOM1, 2-pole main circuit breaker with a  HOM, 2-pole (15-125 Amp MAX.) branch circuit breaker. The branch breaker used as the back-fed generator breaker, cannot exceed the amperage of the main breaker. Kit includes a retaining kit for the HOM branch breaker used as the back-fed breaker for the generator.
NOTE: Series S, convertible Main Lug Only load centers, that meets the description provided above, could also be used by converting the load center to a Main Breaker device using the QOM1 Main Breaker. SEE THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR INSTALLATION AND LOCATION REQUIRED FOR THE GENERATOR BREAKER.

2) Kit part number HOMCGK2C is compatible with any Series S, NEMA Type 1 (indoor) and Series S1, NEMA Type 3R (outdoor), convertible Homeline main breaker load center that utilizes a QOM2 frame main circuit breaker (150 - 225 Amp MAX.). It interlocks the QOM2, 2-pole main circuit breaker with a HOM 2-pole (15-125 Amp MAX.) branch circuit breaker. The branch breaker used as the back-fed generator breaker cannot exceed 125 Amp MAX.. Kit includes a retaining kit for the HOM branch breaker used as the back-fed breaker for the generator.
NOTES: a) Series S and Series S1 convertible Main Lug Only load centers, that meets the description provided above, could also be used by converting the load center to a Main Breaker device using
the QOM2 Main Breaker. SEE THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR INSTALLATION AND LOCATION REQUIRED FOR THE GENERATOR BREAKER
b) Not applicable for the HOM60120M200PC or HOM60120L225PC, a generator interlock kit is NOT available for the 60 space Homeline load centers


3) Kit part number HOMRBGK2C is compatible with any Series S2, S3 or S4 NEMA Type 3R (outdoor), convertible Homeline main breaker load center that utilizes a QOM2 frame main circuit breaker
(150 - 225 Am MAX.). It interlocks the QOM2, 2-pole main circuit breaker with a HOM 2-pole (15-125 Amp MAX.) branch circuit breaker. The branch breaker used as the back-fed generator breaker cannot exceed 125 Amp MAX.. Kit includes a retaining kit for the HOM branch breaker used as the back-fed breaker for the generator.
