What causes an OSF (mains overvoltage fault) on the ATV61 and ATV71 drives?

What causes an OSF mains overvoltage fault on the ATV61 and ATV71 drives?

Product Line:
Altivar ATV61 and ATV71

Mains overvoltage fault on power up.

OSF is a Mains Overvoltage Fault.
- The Line voltage can be to high.

You can check the Mains voltage with a digital meter on L1 L2 L3.  Measure the AC voltage phase to phase. Be sure that you are measuring the voltage on the terminals of the drive.
You can also check the mains voltage value in monitoring menu 1.2.
Power cycle the drive to see if the fault will clear if it does you may want to consider turning on the automatic fault reset or maybe adding a input line reactor.
