Ask a Question

Which QOM-VH Main Breaker Kit is used to convert a HOMELINE Main Lugs Convertible Main load center to a Main Breaker device?

Issue:
How to convert a convertible Homeline load center from Main Lug to Main Breaker

Product Line:
Load Center

Environment:
Homeline Load Center

Cause:
Need to convert MLO to MB

Resolution:
The 125A convertible main lugs load centers would use a QOM1-VH main breaker, available from 50A through 125A.

The 150A, 200A and 225A convertible main lugs load centers would use a QOM2-VH main breaker, available from 100A through 225A. However, the main breaker cannot exceed the maximum ampere rating of the main lugs load center being converted.

Alternatively, a 2 pole back fed main can be installed on the branch section (e.g. HOM2100). If using a backfed main one of the following retaining kits must be used:
  • Use HOM1RK to secure circuit breaker to interior when used as a back-fed main if using HOM612L100F/S, RB and HOM48L125GC, GRB load center.
  • Use HOM4RK2LA to secure circuit breaker to the right side of interior when used as a back-fed main if using 100–125 A convertible main load center, Series S01 and S02.
  • Use HOM4RK2HA to secure circuit breaker to the right side of interior when used as a back-fed main if using 150–225 A convertible main load center, Series S01 and S02.
  • Use HOM5RK to secure circuit breaker to the interior when using 2P 150–200 A circuit breaker as back-fed main.
