Issue:
What can cause the motor to run from an E-Flex when the AFC/OFF/BYPASS switch is in AFC and the HAND/OFF/AUTO is in OFF?

Product Line:
E-Flex

Environment:
All models with bypass

Cause:
The E-Flex is running the motor when it should not. The drive has a RUN command when HOA is OFF.

Resolution:
Typically, the run command is applied to logic input LI1.  Verify if LI1 is high, and then troubleshoot both the 24VDC and 120VAC control circuits.

Probable causes include:
  • miswiring
  • failed relay
  • induced voltage
  • failed HOA switch/contact
