What does an F40 or an F60 suffix on the end of a D-frame breaker indicate?

Issue: What does an F40 or an F60 suffix on the end of a D-frame breaker indicate?

Product Line:
Circuit breakers

Environment:
Powerpact D

Resolution:
F40 and F60 suffixes indicate a breaker frame (400A or 600A) with no trip unit. This breaker could be mounted and wired, and the trip unit could then be chosen and installed at a later date.
This breaker is now obsolete; cross to a Powerpact L frame which also has "frame only" option.
