What are the circuit breaker termination options? Third character of the catalog number.

Issue:
What methods are available for terminating cables or conductors on Powerpact circuit breakers?  
Example:  What is the difference in terminations of breakers with prefix PJL, PJF, PJP, PJM and PJA?

Product Line:
PowerPact Molded Case Circuit Breakers

Environment:
All PowerPact B, H, J, L, M, P and R frame breakers

Resolution:
  • A:  I-Line mount for PowerPact frames
  • F:  No lugs on either end.  PowerPact only Terminal Nut Kits installed on both ends
  • L:  Lugs on both ends
  • M:  Lugs "ON" end only PowerPact only Terminal Nut Kit installed on "OFF" end
  • P:  Lugs "OFF" end only PowerPact only Terminal Nut Kit installed on "ON" end
  • N:  Plug-in applies to PowerPact H, J,and L only
  • D:  Drawout applies to PowerPact H, J, L and P only
  • S:  Rear connected applies to PowerPact H, J and L only
