Ask a Question

Can serial communications be set up for read-only while using the terminals for control?

Yes. All serial communications protocols can be used in read only mode. A logic input can be programmed for forced local. As long as that input is high the serial communications will not be able to control the drive. When in forced local mode the serial communications can still read information from the drive registers.
