Customer wanted to know the difference between a KC and a KA?

Issue:
What do the A and C signify in KA/KC breakers?

Product Line:

Resolution:
The difference is the AIC ratings, also known as interrupting ratings.
The KA is rated for 42 kAIC at 240 V, 25 kAIC at 480 V, and 22 kAIC at 600 V.
The KC is rated for 100 kAIC at 240 V, 65 kAIC at 480 V, and is not rated for 600 V.
