What is the meaning of the ``Type`` roman numerals used for control transformer dimensions?

Those are used to designate which set of dimensions correspond to the transformers using various voltage codes, and to determine which the proper accessory for a particular cpt.  As the number of primary or secondary winding options increase, the transformer gets larger.  The roman numeral beneath the voltage code is the cpt`s type code.
