Brian Aller

VP | CI3 – Control Installations of Iowa, Inc.


Brian Aller is Vice President of CI3, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He manages a team of both office and field staff specializing in HVAC/temperature controls, card access systems, video surveillance, lighting control and may other forms of building automation. Brian is also a master Electrician, his career started as an apprentice electrician and has work every position in the company from Journeyman installer, Service Truck Driver, Software Programmer, Project Manager, Operations Manager and Vice President.

Dr. Tom Bradicich is Vice President and General Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), leading the global business unit, IoT and Converged Edge Systems, with P&L, worldwide sales, and product development. He and his team direct the global HPE Discovery Labs and IoT Innovation Labs for partner and customer collaborations, conceived HPE’s first IoT strategy, and created a new product class Edgeline™ Converged Edge Systems. A National Emmy-Award winning journalist, Brewer is known for her marathon on-air coverage of breaking news and big political stories. While an anchor for MSNBC, she hosted daily news programs and the long-running, primetime series "Caught on Camera." As a correspondent, Brewer has contributed reports to CBS News, CBSN, WNBC, NBC News and MSNBC, where she covered a wide range of stories. Brad joined D.R. Horton in October 1996 as a Customer Service Representative at the Phoenix Continental Series Division. In 1997, he moved into the office as a Purchasing Coordinator. He held various positions in the division’s purchasing department through 2002, when he was named the division’s Director of Purchasing. In 2003, Brad joined the Southwest Region as its Vice President of Purchasing. In August of 2005, he joined D.R. Horton’s corporate office as the VP, Director of National Accounts. Prior to joining DHI, Brad was previously working in various field positions for KB Homes and Radnor in Phoenix.

Brad lives in Colleyville, Texas with his wife Melissa and three children - Taylor, Jacob, and Brinlee. He serves at his local church and dedicates time to various ministries.

Hervé joined Schneider Electric in 1993 and is the Chief Digital Officer and a Member of the Executive Committee since 2009. Prior to assuming this role, Hervé served as Chief Information Officer. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for the Critical Power and Cooling Services (CPCS) Business Unit of Schneider Electric, which was formed in early 2007 following the acquisition of APC Corp and its merger with MGE-UPS Systems. Luke Durcan

Luke is an IoT leader within Schneider Electric focused on driving key strategic clients to understand and implement EcoStruxure solutions. New to Schneider, Luke has spent 10 years building and selling industrial Analytics solutions after growing up as an engineer in industrial and supply chain leadership.

Mark Faber

Senior VP, Global Partnerships | AEG


Mark Faber has been with AEG for 13 years. He is part of the AEG and MGM joint venture leadership team and was instrumental in the development of the 20,000 seat T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. The arena opened to rave reviews in April 2016 and was named Billboard 2017 Arena of the Year and 2018 Top Arena In the World.

Mark Feasel

VP, Smart Grid | Schneider Electric


Mark Feasel is responsible for Schneider Electric’s Smart Grid activities in North America which are focused on optimizing energy efficiency, resilience, and sustainability from the electric utility control center through a consumer’s loads. Mark’s experience with microgrids began in the 1980’s when he was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the electrical systems associated with the nuclear reactor on a ballistic missile submarine, and have continued throughout his career while leading an energy management and distributed generation controls company, and leading commercial operations of the Power Management and Controls business for Schneider Electric North America.

Justin Fier is the Director for Cyber Intelligence & Analytics at Darktrace, based in Washington D.C. Justin is one of the US’s leading cyber intelligence experts, and his insights have been widely reported in leading media outlets, including Wall Street Journal, CNN, the Washington Post, and VICELAND. With over 10 years of experience in cyber defense, Justin has supported various elements in the US intelligence community, holding mission-critical security roles with Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman Mission Systems and Abraxas. Justin is also a highly-skilled technical specialist, and works with Darktrace’s strategic global customers on threat analysis, defensive cyber operations, protecting IoT, and machine learning.

Courtney Forget

Ms. Francetic oversees the Fund’s investment activities and operations. Her career spans over 20 years of high technology entrepreneurship, private equity, and research. Prior to the Fund, Francetic served as co-founder and CEO of technology accelerator Clean Energy Trust which has invested in dozens of early-stage clean energy companies across the Midwestern US. She also held roles at private equity firm MVC Capital and Stanford Research Institute. Earlier in her career, she was co-founder and CEO of a tech company that she sold to Lego Systems.

Charlie Fredrickson

Randy Gaines

Randy Gaines currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations and New Hotel Openings for the Americas at Hilton, bringing 25 plus years of experience to the Operations team. In this capacity, he is responsible for Engineering Property Operations, Housekeeping, Leasing / Retail Operations and Operations for all new hotel openings in the Americas. Randy and his team also support all corporate sustainability energy conservation efforts across the Americas. Currently, Randy is an active chairperson for the American Hotel & Lodging Sustainability Committee.

Kathryn Gallagher

Kathryn is an experienced Registered Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry in both clinical and leadership roles. Kathryn is a member on the Facilities Guidelines Institute Health Guidelines Revision Committee.

Garry Garver

Data Center Technical Lead, East Region US | IBM


Garry currently serves as IBM’s data center technical lead for Operations in the East Region. Responsible for data centers in RTP NC, Annapolis MD, and Rocket Center WV. Prior to this role, Garry served as Electrical Engineer for IBM's Research Triangle Park Campus since 1997. He is the winner of IBM's Corporate Environmental Affairs Excellence Award in 2000. Garry earned his BSEE from NCSU in 1988 and MSM from NCSU in 1996.

Alex Gershman

Director of Strategy, US Services and Solutions | Schneider Electric


Alex has spent years at the intersection of Schneider’s strategy, customer experience and data analytics. He led the execution of Schneider’s first “Customers Journey Mapping” work and “Customer Persona” development. Alex currently leads strategic planning efforts for Schneider’s Services team and Strategic Accounts organization in the US. Alex is a champion of not one, but two game shows, having won on Jeopardy! In the early 2000’s and winning the $150,000 grand prize on the $100,000 Pyramid last summer.

His BOLD idea is to conquer the Game Show circuit – to win $1,000,000 on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and another $1,000,000 on “Beat Shazam”.

Larry Hann

Director, Channel Digital Services | APC by Schneider Electric


Larry has been with APC for over 20 years and during this time he has supported North American business relationships as manager for Tier 2 OEM partners and then the Tier 1 IT Distribution team. Additionally, Larry has held various positions with APC’s Government Channel Partners, Strategic Partners and National Account businesses. He holds a BMSE in Material Engineering from Virginia Tech and a MSE in Materials Science and Engineering from Clemson University.

His BOLD idea is to leverage Schneider Electric’s third party alliance partnerships to bolster our offers, making them more valuable for customers, and also enabling our channel partners to differentiate themselves by offering complete, integrated solutions.

Daniel Harr

Operations Director | Delta Systems


Daniel is presently the Operations Director/General Manager for Delta Systems and Automation, an IMA group company. He began his career in Walmart Logistics Engineering and has enjoyed continued success for 15 years in numerous operations roles with Office Depot and Scholastic. He joined Delta Systems in early 2013 in Procurement and now is responsible f or all Productive Systems and Customer Care.

Andy Haun

Microgrids Chief Technology Officer | Schneider Electric


Beginning with Square D Company in 1985, Andy has led a variety of key product development and technical innovations during his 30+ year tenure with Schneider Electric and holds 21 patents relating to circuit protection, relaying, and power control. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Duke University.

His BOLD idea is to invent new microgrid IoT solutions that enable resilience, reduce risk, optimize energy costs, and increase sustainability.

Nathan Hazelwood

Director of Strategic Procurement | QTS Data Centers


Nathan manages the development and implementation of QTS’ strategic procurement program across the company’s full data center portfolio. Among his key responsibilities is driving consistency in equipment and processes through standardization to deliver best-in-class data centers. Nathan is a data center industry veteran, with previous positions at CyrusOne and Critical Project Services.

Chandler Heath

Global Solutions Architect, IoT | World Wide Technology (WWT)


Chandler Heath is a technical solutions architect on the network solutions team focusing on IoT and big data integration using proven and cutting edge technologies. Chandler’s passion is to create multi-vendor integrated solutions to achieve customer satisfaction while delivering business results. In his spare time, Chandler mentors and volunteers with youth STEM programs including projects such as high altitude ballooning, robotics and amateur radio. Chandler also enjoys inventing, sailing, running and storm-chasing.

Peter Herweck

Peter has been in charge of Schneider Electric's global industry business since 2016. He has extensive experience in automation, digitization, and industrial software. He started his career at Mitsubishi. After joining Siemens, he held several executive positions in factory and process automation and headed corporate strategy. John Hoekstra

Johnny Howze III

Plant Manager | Georgia Power Company


Johnny Howze III serves as Plant Manager for Georgia Power’s Plant Scherer in Juliette. In this role, he is responsible for providing overall leadership for operations of four coal-fired units that can produce 3,600 megawatts of electricity and provide electricity to power approximately 2.6 million homes. Under Howze’s leadership, Plant Scherer was named the 2017 Powder River Basin Coal User’s Group Plant of the Year. Howze has progressed through various leadership positions, including serving as plant manager at Gulf Power’s Smith and Scholz plants, and several Georgia Power plants, including Branch, Warner Robins and Wansley. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama and completed the executive MBA program at Kennesaw State University. He also serves on the board of directors of the Powder River Basin Coal User’s Group and the Plant Management Institute for Electric Power.

Mr. Sotolongo is head of the Lenovo DCG Internet of Things (IoT) Group worldwide. With over 32 years of experience in the technology industry, Wilfredo has served in a variety of sales leadership roles. Prior to Lenovo, he led global sales for IBM’s x86 servers, during which time he created a standalone System x channel group. He also managed the separation and integration of this activity from IBM to Lenovo. Wilfredo previously held the position of North America VP for Business Partner and Mid-Market Sales, North America VP for System x Sales, and Latin America Director for Distribution and Industrial Sector Sales, all within IBM.
