Soft Starters that Eliminate the Water Hammer 

Altistart® 48 soft starters are fully integrated, reliable, and offer advanced functionality. Their exclusive Torque Control System minimizes mechanical pipe stress, and motor heating during acceleration, and is also the only soft start that can eliminate water hammer.

The Altistart 48 can be purchased in an enclosed package for easy configuration, or open for panel mount applications. For smaller panel mount applications, the Altistart 01 is an economic and ergonomic solution for motors in the 1⁄4 to 75 hp range. Some models are form-fitted to the TeSys® U-Line Starter to provide a streamlined cost-saving solution.
