DALLAS – June 13, 2012 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced it will host a free Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) contractor symposium on Tuesday, June 19, at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Built on the success of similar events held in Houston and Chicago, the “Retrofit to Green: Atlanta” symposium will provide a platform for Atlanta stakeholders and M/WBE businesses to discuss energy efficiency, jobs, economic development and sustainability issues that affect the city of Atlanta and Georgia as a whole. M/WBE attendees will be able to network with a variety of professional and industry associations as well as local government entities, such as the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency, which will provide information regarding workforce and employment services.
