Why is Powersuite unable to connect to the drive?

1) Verify that the correct com port has been selected, and that the communications parameters are properly set.
2) Verify that the cabling between the drive and PC are correct  (Need to confirm by the writing on the cable that not using the cable labeled for ATV28 before 09/2001/W81493530111AO1).
3) Check to see if any other software package on the PC may be communicating with the selected serial com port.  Examples of this would be ActiveSync, or HotSync Manager software that is used to connect a PDA with the PC.  Programmer logic controller software, Fax and Modem software can also grab the com port, and will not allow any other application to communicate with it.
(4) Powersuite needs to use a serial connection to the drive. Many computers do not include a DB9 Serial Port. A 3rd party adapter will be needed.
