The difference is the meter socket used. The Series M02 design used a meter socket that was purchased from Cooper B-Line (part number 21324CD). The Series M03 design is using a meter socket that is manufactured by Square D Company (part number 73294-902-50). The meter sockets are not compatible between the two different designs.
