What is the policy on replacing breaker labels?

For any label replacement, the original serial number (if applicable) must be provided. Date codes and catalog numbers will need to be provided for breakers without a serial number.
1. Any faceplate label that contains a UL listing or certification mark requres UL witnessing the replacement of the label. This is very costly.
2. Faceplates that do not contain listing or certification marks may be replaced by field services. Customer will have to pay for services to do this.
3. Return the breaker to the plant for label replacement. Obtain Return for Repair RMA. The cost to the customer is $50.00 per breaker plus they pay the freight.
