Yes, a Model 6 unit can be installed in a Model 5 section with the proper mounting hardware.  Note that a Model 6 unit, except a Compac 6 (6`` unit) cannot be installed in the space directly below a Model 5 top shelf.  When placing an order, provide the existing Model 5 LVMCC factory order number (found on the UL structure nameplate label).  See the document link for the instruction bulletin.
