When was the last time your hospital’s electrical distribution system had a check-up?

The HealthPower Infrastructure Program identifies and mitigates risk factors associated with the safety, operation, maintenance and regulatory compliance of your electrical system. Our systematic approach ensures the entire electrical system is covered, from surgery suites to patient rooms to ancillary areas.

Conduct risk assessment and establish priorities for improvements.

                      Scope of risk assessment

Develop a corrective action plan to address the deficiencies to comply with the requirements of the Joint Commission and other authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).

At the regular maintenance intervals, a power system engineer will:

                      • Review the maintenance results and findings
                      • Walk through/analyze operational issues
                      • Review programs implemented (e.g. Maintenance Plan, Emergency Action Plan) and applicable changes in regulatory requirements
                      • Develop recommendations for improvement
