        Merlin Gerin & Telemecanique products to be branded Schneider Electric

         

         
         

        The Schneider Electric global brand continues to gain awareness and recognition throughout the world as a trusted solutions provider.

        To strengthen the Schneider Electric brand and present one face to our customers; we launched a new package design for all Telemecanique and Merlin Gerin products in July, 2008.  The new design prominently displays the Schneider Electric logo and signature green color to reinforce the company’s visual style and identity.
        		  

        In order to further unify our one-brand global strategy we will, starting in 2nd Quarter 2009, begin marking all Telemecanique, Merlin Gerin and Modicon products with the distinctive Schneider Electric logo mark.  However, the Modicon brand will be retained on packaging and product expressed as a range name for our PLC offer.

        This will be a phased transition and will impact all IEC power and automation and control products over the next 12-18 months.
