General Services Administration Achieves Net Zero Energy Through Energy Savings Performance Contract with Schneider Electric

DALLAS – February 18, 2014 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded it a $6.4 million Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) for the Almeric Christian Federal Building in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

As part of GSA’s Deep Retrofit Challenge, this project will install energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy systems at the site in St. Croix, making it one of the first federal buildings to achieve 100 percent Net Zero Energy through an ESPC.thatallows colocation providers to serve a variety of small and medium-sized businesses.
