For many years, Schneider Electric has supported Habitat for Humanity, an organization dedicated to bringing people together to build, reconstruct or repair homes, communities and hope. We share in Habitat for Humanity's commitment to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
As a national partner and long-time supporter, Schneider Electric has donated more than $24 million worth of electrical equipment -- Square D™ by Schneider Electric and Juno™ by Schneider Electric -- to help build homes in the United States, Canada, and Mexico since 2000. In addition, the company has donated more than $4 million worth of funding to help cover the cost of land, infrastructure, and homebuilding materials. Schneider Electric employees have also donated many hours of time and muscle to Habitat home builds and the company has been a multi-year supporter of the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project internationally and in the U.S.
