Our RECRUITMENT PROCESS is designed to match the right candidates to the right jobs at the right time.  We offer a broad range of opportunities designed to provide the knowledge and skills you need to advance your career.  Our recruitment process allows both the candidate and the company to assess the job opportunity match based on the candidate’s experience and skills compared to the requirements of the position.

                                  Career fairs and campus events

Schneider Electric recruits for entry-level positions by visiting a variety of campuses throughout the year.  The campus recruitment process traditionally begins with attending your school’s career fair or other campus event. We will post our open positions with your career center and schedule on campus interviews.

                                  Online application

To be considered for any position at Schneider Electric, you must submit an online application. Simply click "Jobs with us" and search for positions that meet your areas of interest and skill level. Even if you go through your school's career center website to sign up for interviews, in order to be considered for a position with us, you must fill out the application on the Schneider Electric website.

                                  The interview phase

Schneider Electric is highly selective, so if you're chosen for a first round interview- congrats! We hold first round interviews both on campus and over the phone. The first round interview will give you and the interviewer the opportunity to learn if our organization and this role match up with your skills and career goals. You can expect to hear from a Schneider Electric recruiter within two weeks after your first round interview.

For full-time roles, if your first round interview is successful, you will likely be asked to attend an on-site second round interview at one of our business locations. The on-site is not just an interview, but what we hope you will see as an exciting event. This is your opportunity to get a real feel for the culture of Schneider Electric. The on-site is generally the last step in the interviewing process.

For internships and co-ops, you will either have a phone interview with a hiring manager or be asked to come to a Schneider Electric office for a face-to-face interview. We see internships as an opportunity for students to learn about what it's like to work in our organization as well as the overall industry. We also see internships as an opportunity to build relationships with students for potential full-time employment in the future.

                                  Offer for employment

The most exciting step in the process for both Schneider Electric and an applicant is the offer; at that point, we believe we have found a great fit. Offers are first given verbally, then with a verbal acceptance, an offer packet is sent out. It is important to fill out and return all necessary offer paperwork in a timely manner.

                                  On-boarding

After you've accepted an offer with Schneider Electric, the recruitment process ends and you begin the on-boarding process. In the time between your offer and when you start, Schneider Electric will be busy preparing for your first day with us. Once you start your new job, you will go through an orientation program to learn more about your new role and responsibilities as an employee of Schneider Electric. This is your time to settle in, meet your new team and begin making a name for yourself. As mentioned above, Schneider Electric is highly selective throughout our recruiting process; if you are selected to come on-board, congratulations!
