Ask a Question

Does the current EZM metering design still use the 'VISI-TITE' Joint Bolt for making the horizontal cross bus connections?

The concept is still used, but in a different way. In the current design, a 'VISI-TITE' Nut is used. The 'VISI-TITE' Nut incorporates the same concept as the 'VISI-TITE" Joint Bolt. It's a Double-Headed, torque indicating NUT design, in which the outer head of the nut will twist OFF and the RED Disc falls away, once the correct torque has been reached. SEE THE BELOW VISUAL.
