When would you expect to use the control speed + error fault. capability.

First need to understand that the actual fault that will be obtained when this parameter is set to yes in menu 7.4 is overspeed. It is ideal for applications where motor will be in regeneration most of the time and output voltage will tend to be higher than expected and want to monitor if the output frequency is higher than commanded speed reference. The fault occurs if the output frequency is 20% above maximum frequency parameter setting. Also, get fault when use with tachometer and tach. is incorrectly adjusted, have machine overload, the tach. signal is not present, or the tachometer polarity is incorrect.
