Ask a Question

What faults are triggered on the ATV58 after the temperature of the motor exceeds a certain threshold determined by a PTC probe (direct thermal protection)?

The OTF (Over Tempareature Failure ) fault is triggered when the resistance of the probe circuit is above 2000 ohms. The fault disappears if the resistance of the probe circuit is below 1500 ohms.

The drive faults on TSF (Thermal sensor failure ) if it detects the threshold of detection of cutoff of the probes has reached 6.6V or the threshold of detection of short-circuit of the probes has reached 0.2V.

The OTF and TSF faults can only be generated if an optional card is connected to the drive and if the analog input AI3 is assigned to the PTC Probe function.
