Issue:
Product design features

Product Line:

Environment:

Cause:
Installation

Resolution:

These switches accept Class H or K fuses as standard. For design Series E1, E2 or E3, options include Class R fuses (field install Class R Fuse Kit DRK30). With Class H or K fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 10,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current. With Class R fuses (and DRK30 fuse kit installed) the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current.

NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability and will void the warranty.
