Ask a Question

How can a QO2175SB used in a tall 400a Main Breaker NQOD with 42 ckts and a Sub Feed Breaker best be tied into the neutral bar ? The 18`` wire on the surgebreaker is presently not long enough to reach.

Use a #8 wire and a butt splice connection onto the #10 on the surgebreaker to extend the distance to the neutral assembly. Try to avoid having any sharp bends in this wire run as well. This will not give the best protection be cause of the long wire on the neutral connection.
