What is the lug temperature rating on Legacy circuit breakers such as FAL KAL LAL LCL MAL and NAL?

Issue:
What is the lug temperature rating on FAL KAL LAL LCL MAL and NAL circuit breakers?

Product Line:
Legacy circuit breakers

Environment:
Breakers used in NEMA markets

Resolution:
The termination rating for the following circuit breakers is 75 deg. C.
FAL KAL LAL LCL MAL and NAL FHL FIL FCL KHL KIL LHL LIL MHL NHL NCL LE LX LXI ME MX NE NX
This means that if terminated with cable, the insulation rating must be 75 deg. C or greater, and the conductor size must be based on the 75 deg. C ampacity.

Underwriter Laboratories Inc. (UL) standards require that molded-case circuit breakers rated at 125 amperes or less be marked with the conductor insulation-temperature rating.
Circuit breakers rated above 125 deg. C are required to be suitable for 75 deg. C wire and need not be so marked.
