Ask a Question

What is an RCCB circuit breaker?

RCCB stands for Residual Current Circuit Breaker, and is a switch (no thermal-magnetic overcurrent protection) with ground-fault protection. By contrast, an RCBO is more like our GFI breaker with thermal-magnetic protection in addition to ground-fault protection. ``Residual`` simply means ground current. They are IEC rated (not UL), so their use is only for OEMs who want these product features and don`t need UL listing on the devices.
