Where can you find the date code on Powerpact and Masterpact breakers?

Issue:
Where is the format of the date code and where is it located on Powerpact molded case breakers and Masterpact insulated case circuit breakers?  

Product line:  
Molded case and power circuit breakers

Environment:  
Powerpact B, H, J, L, Q, M, P, R breakers, Masterpact NT, NW breakers

Resolution:  
The date code will be in a 5 or 6 digit format.  
  • The first two numbers indicate the year
  • The second two numbers indicate the week of that year
  • The 5th digit indicates the day of the week
  • If there is a 6th digit, it indicates the shift
The date code will be located on the bottom right corner of the label on the face of the breaker.  

Here is an example of the location of the date code on a Powerpact breaker.  In this example, this breaker was manufactured on Friday, July 18, 2014:  



Here is an example of the location of the date code on a Masterpact breaker:  In this example, this breaker was manufactured on Thursday, January 31, 2008:
