Video: How does the HOM1RK retaining kit install into the proper Homeline Single phase 125amp Max. fixed main lug load centers?

The HOM1RK retaining kit secures one 2-pole branch circuit breaker to the interior when used as a Back-Fed Main Breaker.
The HOM1RK is ONLY for the following Fixed Main Lug load center catalog numbers - HOM612L100F, HOM612L100S,HOM612L100RB, HOM48L125GC and HOM48L124GRB.
The retaining bracket will mount on the Front (ON) side of the back-fed branch breaker and get secured using the mounting screw
included with the kit.
NOTE: HOM-GFI and HOM-AFI branch circuit breakers are NOT suitable for use as back-fed main circuit breakers.

The attached video is ONLY to supplement the INSTRUCTIONS that come with the kit. PLEASE make sure to read the instructions and all the below Safety Information that is located in the instructions BEFORE working on any electrical equipment.



Make sure to turn OFF ALL Power supplying the equipment and verify the power is OFF using a properly rated voltage sensing device, BEFORE working on or with electrical equipment. 
1) Once all Safety steps are followed, begin the kit installation by following the instructions.
2) Make sure to obtain the correct 2-pole, Homeline branch breaker to be used as the back-fed Main and DO NOT exceed the maximum rating marked on each load center.
3) Install the appropriate Homeline back-fed branch breaker ONLY in positions 1 and 2 (The first two positions on the left side of the interior)
4) Place the retaining bracket on the front (ON) side of the breaker and line-up the mounting hole in the bracket with the Post on the interior. 
5) Secure the retaining bracket to the Post with the mounting screw provided in the kit and hand tighten. 

NOTE: PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY INFORMATION THAT COME WITH THE KIT AND NEVER WORK ON ENERGIZED EQUIPMENT.
