Why are there indentations on the upper enclosure portion of a Mini-Powerzone transformers?

Mini Powerzone transformer (MPZ)

Cause:
Possible damage in shipping

Resolution:
The indentations should be there and the transformer enclosure is not damaged.  Once the sand-resin matrix cures for the transformer windings, the indentations on the enclosure, are there to help prevent the transformer from sliding down into the wiring compartment below it. See the picture in the attachment of the indentations referenced and that are normal for the MPZ enclosures
