Ask a Question

Is it normal for the Conext CL to show 0Vac in the Power Meter with DC Low or Turned Off?

Issue
With the DC breaker turned off, the power meter and any data loggers show 0Vac on all legs.

Product Line
Conext CL18NA, Conext CL25NA

Environment
Conext CL used when DC voltage is low or turned off.

Cause
When the CL unit is not producing, the internal AC relays are open.  Due to this feature, the CL does not read any AC voltage when the DC voltage is too low for production.

Resolution
This is a normal occurrence.  Measuring the AC input terminals with DC off, and AC turned off will show the true AC voltage that the unit is seeing.
