Ask a Question

How can you identify the part number for a TeSys F contactor?

Issue:
How can a customer identify the part number for a TeSys F contactor?

Product Line:
Contactors and Overload Relays

Environment:
North American Products

Cause:
Customer would like to identify the part number for troubleshooting or replacement purposes.

Resolution:
TeSys F contactors will have the base of the part number printed in gray type on the face of the contactor in the upper left corner beginning with LC1F.  This part number will not come with a coil without a 2-character alphanumeric code that is added to the end that represents the voltage of the contactor coil.  On both AC and DC rated contactors, the code is located directly on the coil, which you can read off of the right hand side of the contactor behind the A1 and A2 terminals.

The contactor can be ordered without a coil voltage code, but when this is done the contactor will come without the coil.
