How to fix a blank display on a PV100, PV225, PV100S or a PV225S inverter?

Issue:
Display is blank, no display or the inverter is dead.

No control power to the inverter

Resolution: 
Note: The work instruction provided is meant for those who are qualified to work on the inverter. This means that they should know how to properly Lock out and Tag Out (LOTO) the inverter...,etc.

On the PV110S\225S, there is a step down transformer (480 to 208) that provides 208 VAC to the inverter. If the F10 or F11 (1.4A) fuses are blown, 208 VAC will not be available. If these fuses are good, check the F17 & F18 (2A) fuses for the step down transformer T1 208:24 VAC. Make sure that you get 24VAC between X1 and X2 at transformer T1 or 24VAC at the P5 connector (pins 1 and 4) of the CCU board.
If there is voltage there and the CCU board's LED is on, check for 15VDC at the display on pin 6 and 8. If there isn't 15 VDC, check fuses F26 and F27 (1A fuses). If there is voltage there and the display is still blank, call 866-519-1470 and select option 3 & 3 to open a new case so that the display can be replaced.

For PV100 and PV225, the step down transformer that provides 24VAC to the inverter control power is T1. Check F9 & F10. Be sure you get 24VAC at X1 of X2 on T1 or pins 1 and 4 at the P5 connector of the PCU board (big board).
If you get 24VAC, verify if there is 15VDC at the J2 connector. The display gets power from the PCU board. If there is 15VDC there and the display is still blank, call 866-519-1470 and select option 3 & 3 to open a new case so that the display can be replaced.
