Issue:
What can cause an sequence time out fault on the ATV66 drives?

Product Line:
Altivar ATV56 and ATV66

Environment:
Altivar ATV56 and ATV66

Cause:
Logic input that is assigned for sequence input may not be turning before the programmed sequence time out time.

Resolution:
Troubleshooting.
Find out what logic input is assigned to the sequence timeout input via menu 2.1  example LI8 is programmed for Sequence timeout.
Next command the drive and check menu 2.1 to see if the sequence timeout logic input turns on. (looking in menu 2.1 at LI8 to see if it shows a 1 (on) or 0 (off) to the far right side of the logic input.
If the output contactor pulls in and the sequence input does not then check for a loose wire feeding from the Aux contact on the output contactor.
Check your +24vdc signal from the Drive out to the Aux contact that runs back into your assigned logic input for sequence timeout.
