Eflex Where to change cables on each rotation

Issue: Motor does not turn the correct direction when attached to an enclosed drive product with or without Bypass contactor.

Product Line: Enclosed Altivar drive products including S-flex, E-flex, M-flex, IFD and MCC as well as others.

Environment: All enclosed altivar systems with or without bypass.

Cause : Motor rotation is reversed, how do I correct this?

Resolution:

If no bypass contactor is present in the system, swap any 2 of the motor leads where they connect to the output of the drive system.

There are three different situations that can occur when a bypass contactor is present, depending on how the power and the motor are connected.

Situation 1, The motor runs the wrong direction from the drive (AFC) and bypass both.
Resolve this situation by swapping 2 of the motor leads where they connect to the output of the drive system.

Situation 2, The motor runs the wrong direction in bypass but the correct direction in drive (AFC).
Resolve this situation by swapping 2 of the incoming power leads where your main power connects to the disconnect of the enclosed product.

Situation 3, The motor runs the correct direction in bypass but the incorrect direction from the drive (AFC).
Resolve this situation by swapping 2 of the motor leads AND 2 of the incoming power leads.
