Ask a Question

Where are the AC and DC fuses located inside of a single phase Grid Tie inverter?

Single Phase Grid Tie Inverter Fuse Removal and Replacement

Schneider Electric has two families of single phase Grid Tie inverters in North America. They are the discontinued GT family and the new Conext TX family.

GT Family

The GT family included seven different inverting capacities, each of them have a different ampacity AC fuse, but all use the same size DC Ground Fault fuse.

The fuses inside a GT unit are located behind the LCD cover panel.

The fuses can be seen here in this picture from the GT manual.

TX Family

The newer Conext TX family includes four different inverting capacities, each of them have a different ampacity AC fuse, but all use the same size DC Ground Fault fuse.

The fuses in a Conext TX inverter are located behind the LCD cover panel.

The fuses can be seen here in this picture from the TX manual.
