Ask a Question

Can a QB I-Line breaker be used in an NH1B interior that currently contains FA and Q2 branch breakers?

The maximum branch breaker the NH1B panel was designed to accept was the F frame 100A ( FAL type 50A max for column width) breaker. The Q2 and the QB 225A frame breakers may fit however, neither the Q2 nor the QB branch breakers have been tested or evaluated for use in the NH1B interiors. Also, keep in mind the maximum ampere rating of a branch breaker for a NH1B panel is still 100A even if they decide to use the QB 225A frame breaker which are not suppose to be in that panel.
