Are EZM Main Devices Suitable for use as Service Equipment?

Cause:
Utility to provide power from an Overhead or Underground Feed to a Remote or Integral Mounted Service Disconnect used to feed a bank of EZM Multi-Metering Equipment Branch Units.
 
 
Resolution:
Yes, EZM Circuit Breaker Mains, EZM Main Fusible Switches, and most EZM Main Lugs Tap Boxes (based on six-disconnect rule applications) can be installed as Service Equipment to accept the Utility’s Overhead or Underground Feed.
 
EZM Circuit Breakers Mains are available in Standard Ratings of 400A, 600A, 800A 1000A, 1200A 1600A and 2000A for use on 1-Phase, 3-Wire, or 3-Phase, 4-Wire Systems, at 240 Vac Maximum, on systems capable of delivering up to 100,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes Maximum of available Fault Current.
 
EZM Main Fusible Switches are available in Ratings of 400A, 600A, 800A, and 1200A for use on 1-Phase, 3-Wire, or 3-Phase, 4-Wire Systems, at 240 Vac Maximum, on systems capable of delivering up to 100,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes Maximum of available Fault Current.
 
EZM Main Lugs Tap Boxes are available in Ratings of 225A (not suitable for use as Service Equipment), 400A, 600A, 800A, 1200A, 1600A and 2000A for use on 1-Phase, 3-Wire, or 3-Phase, 4-Wire Systems, at 240 Vac Maximum on systems capable of delivering up to 100,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes Maximum of available Fault Current. This is based on Tenant Breakers being installed in the connected EZM Branch Units (based on the six disconnect rule application).
