What Class of fuse does the D225N, D225NR, D325N and D325NR safety switches accept?

Resolution:
These switchess will accept Class H or K fuses as standard. 

Options:
1) Class R Fuses (field install Class R Fuse Kit DRK40) 
2) Class J fuses(current design D225N and D325N Series E03 ONLY. Current design D225NR and D325NR Series E01 ONLY). Field modify switch by moving the load base assemblies to alternate position marked in the enclosure.

With Class H or K fuses installed, the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 10,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current. With Class R fuses and DRK40 fuse kit installed the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current. With Class J fuses the switch is UL listed for use on systems with up to 100,000 RMS Symmetrical Amperes available fault current.

NOTE: DO NOT USE RENEWABLE LINK FUSES IN SQUARE D SAFETY SWITCHES. The use of renewable link fuses may adversely affect user safety, impair reliability and will void the warranty.
